Alrighty! Let’s address the elephant in the room. This question has also been bugging us because we have been writing ✍️ furiously and haven’t seen any results in the form of money 💰. We thought the more we wrote the more we would make. That’s only true to a certain extent. You might be writing a lot but nobody is reading. We set out to find the magic number so we can set it as our goal for the coming month. We have decided to concretize our goals. So what is the magic number of posts for a small blogger like us… Here’s what others say

From Quora

Minimum how many blog post should be written to earn from 1$ ? Your blog should be publishing 100+ blog posts and there is no upper limit. However, most important is that your blog post should be interesting and useful that readers want to read. Then you can think of earning $1 / 100,000 views.

Wow, is that 100 posts per day or per month or per year? At the moment, we are barely doing 4 posts a day. I guess nobody ever thinks about how hard it is to write content daily. I wonder if there’s an app which can produce content on demand. If you aren’t buying content from Fiverr or Upwork. At this rate, we should sign up at Fiverr and offer to write content for others. Okay moving on, other thoughts in the room… I see another hand up…

On the same question, Lifehacker says

Your content alone won’t likely make you money. Instead, you‘ll have to get advertisers, sell services like consulting or speaking, use affiliate marketing to get a percentage of sales from links people click on your blog, or maybe offer products like ebooks or premium content to actually generate income

We get it. Instead of expending all our time on writing content, we need to start looking for potential advertisers and pitching our blog. They won’t come to us at the beginning when we are still small. But watch out, we grow big and they might come to us. In the meantime, start learning how to pitch and how to sell yourself.

Now how many posts do you need to launch your blog? Problogger responds

Have At Least 3-5 Posts Already Published. My ideal scenario for launching a new blog is to have at least a few posts already live on the blog. The benefit of this approach is that when you launch the blog, people arrive and see more posts than just your ‘I started a blog‘ post!

We are past that goalpost. All our affiliate marketing websites have at least 3 posts therefore, the money ought to start flowing in, right??? Wrong!! It takes time for a blog to become popular.

Alphainvestors says:

around 3 to 6 monthsThe average time it takes for a new blog to get traction in the search engines is around 3 to 6 months. This is assuming that you’re publishing high quality content consistently, and you’re out there building backlinks to those articles.

Now that you have been here for 6 months and have worked 24 seven and added 600 well researched, authentic articles, can you expect the 💰money? How many views do you need to make the big millionaire money?

Myworkfromhomemoney says:

When you consider that only a small fraction of blog visitors are going to click on an ad, less than one in 100 visitors, you need hundreds of thousands of visitors to make much money. Making just $0.008 per page view, you would need about 12.5 million page views to make $100,000 from Adsense!

Sounds like a lot, doesn’t it? Not if you break it down the way dummies has done for us. They say…

Here are the going rates based on the blogger’s number of monthly impressions: 10,000 to 50,000 monthly blog impressions: $175 to $250 per post. 50,000 to 100,000 monthly blog impressions: $250 to $500 per post. 100,000 to 500,000 monthly blog impressions: $500 to $1,000 per post.

Our conclusion…

Keep writing, ✍️ ✍️.. Eventually it will start to pay. Blogging isn’t easy work. Let not the gurus fool you by telling you that in 15 days you could be making $200,000 per month with only 5 minutes work. Before you become an extremely successful wealthy millionaire from affiliate passive income and blogging, you will put in work or invest money. Don’t forget that Arianna Huffington started as a blogger. Look at them now and be inspired! You can do this.
