Mike Grehan talks about building links and writing to other webmasters to accept to link to your website. While neither encouraging it nor discouraging the habit he poses a rather serious question…

Quoting him…

I want you to go to your own website right now, take a pen and a piece of paper, and write down ten good reasons why you should link to your own website.

Now, if you find yourself scratching your head after four or five, ask yourself this question: If I can’t think of ten good reasons to link to my website, what makes me think other people would?

Challenge accepted, Mike…

Here are ten reasons why webmasters should be begging us to leave our link on their website…

1. Good content… mmh, that’s still debatable. We have so many outstanding tasks needed to take the content from good to great. I suppose we will get to these tasks eventually

2. New content… We update once a week. When we started writing on this blog, we made a silent vow that we would do 5 articles every day… Every day, we said. Not once a week.. Well here we are…. The challenges of real life made us fall through the cracks. But we do update once a week, randomly, with no set timelines

3. You would be doing us a favor and we are counting on your good ❤️ heart. That’s not a great reason but what if we said we would return the favor? We heard that Google frowns on link exchange and it falls under what they would refer to as black hat techniques.

As we figure out other reasons why you should link back to us, we want to reiterate that we are still in the field of blogging about passive income and affiliate marketing. How is your day going? Let us know which topics you would love for us to cover
